My tuscan lives in a garage but i have no electricity in there so an optimate charger is not a option. My car does have a battery cut off switch that i use.
Under the current lock down driving the car is not an option.
Whats the worse i can expect to happy if the battery goes flat, i.e alarm immobiliser issue etc

Thanks
Si

Any idea where the battery isolation switch is, in relation to the circuit ?

If it’s at the start of the circuit, every time you’ve ever flicked that, you’ve created a ‘Flat battery’ scenario.

For what it’s worth, my Cerbera’s battery is forever going flat, with no problems post charging.

Does your garage face the sun? What about a solar powered charger - I used one and it just 'trickled' enough to keep the alarm, immobiliser etc powered up.

I only know that it is in the passenger footwell so its attached to a battery terminal

Thumbs up on this.
I have one on my narrowboat, keeps the starter battery topped up brilliantly..
A range to choose from here,

Bigger ones give more oomph.
