Tuscan 2 on Top Gear

Clarkson slagged it off anyway. I wasn't impressed at all with his tiresome jibes about reliability, and the pathetic excercise of seeing how long it takes people to find the door release. Both him and the little fella both couldn't resist taking the p!ss. You'd think they would show a bit more support for the one of the last remaining true Brit sports car makers. Oh, and Clarkson thought it was funny to keep calling it a Russian car. He's gone down in my estimations...
What a tw@t that Clarkson is. For a start if he wants to go round comparing a £39k TVR to a £60k wiesmann it is, then why not compare the wiesmann to a saggy instead, or something else that costs £60k.
They made very little of the £21k price difference between the cars, and if the I had £60k then the new Porsche Cayman (and Im gonna get crucified for this) would probably be preferable to the Wiesmann.
He did make the point that the tuscan is a marmite car though - love it or hate it - and this goes for teh marque as a whole i think. I bought my car for the individuality it gives me and performance which I can afford!

I agree, galling to see them get behind and support an ugly (esp when parked next to the tuscan) German car that costs 20k more.
Although when they take the piss out of other cars I usually find it quite amusing, just not when they do it to cars I like. Hopefully at least the searing time it set round the track will raise a few eyebrows! It's hard to ignore.
Had to edit this to say porsche cayman? eeeeugh! It's even uglier than a 911 if that's possible. I agree with TG that porsche have the laziest and most conservative design department around!

I thought the 'useability' test was a bloody joke. In what way does not knowing where to locate the door release justify a slagging for difficult day-to-day use?
Sure'll any idiot would think to ask the dealer this when they bought the car...and then it'd take mere seconds to exit the car from then on?!?!?!?
They also failed to point out that the unique design may prove to be a good deterant to thieves!!! LOL
Was it just me...or did the Weisman look like a Noddy Car? lmao
