After having two RAVPower ones simply stop working on me for no reason whilst less than 2 years old I decided to do some proper research before investing in another jump starter.
Initially the much advertised NOCO items were looked at but was surprised to see many reports of battery swelling and general lack of quality so started to consider other options.
After a good few hours research I plumped for the Tacklife T8 (capable of starting petrol engines up to 6.5 litre) at £83, cheaper than the equivalent NOCO and also comes with a very sturdy semi rigid carry case that is extra on the NOCO
Reviews were good and when it arrived was very impressed with the solidity of it - feels like a very well made, sturdy piece of kit

I had a Rav Power from Amazon first and was very good but have had it a few years and I wanted a new bigger more powerful one. The RavPower is fine but won't do massive engines and will only do one then will need a charge.
I went with a NOCO GB70 from Halfords with trade and AA discount on a promo one day it made it much cheaper
The GB70 will do and has done much bigger engines and will do 3 or 4 cars I suspect before needing a charge.
Great unit and highly recommend. Case is a bit naff compared as it a fabric bag but just noticed you can get a proper better case for £15 extra I think.

I've had one of these for the last 3 years. I've used it to start numerous cars including the Chimaera when the battery failed it was able to start it 4 times one one charge and still suggested it had over 60% power remaining. I bought if from AliExpress where I've seen them for ~£55.
Like all these battery packs I think you have to look after them keep them cool, don't allow the car to push current back to it by using the correct connector. I've now got a jump lead permanently wired in just in case.
