Headlining replacement

Just wondering if any of you wonderful Diy’ers had replaced your own headlining? Car is a T350c. Current lining is alcantara but the foam backing has disintegrated so won’t stay stuck down (glue won’t work anymore). It looks like a pig of a job.

Any tips gratefully received.
