New Griffith LE deposit
Discussion
Hi all. I'm looking for some advice please.
I've had a deposit down on the new Griffith since April 2017, but my financial situation has recently changed for the worse and I can't afford to proceed further. Disappointed, as despite the mixed reviews on the looks I still believe it is going to be a fantastic car.
What are my options? I believe I can sell it on. Anyone gone through the process before? Can you offer advice on where to advertise? Given that TVR are offering increased value for the deposit depending on length of time held I'd hope its worth more to someone else than merely getting it refunded.
Any advice is most welcome.
Cheers.

"There are a small number of Launch Edition (LE) Griffiths available, production of which will be limited to a maximum of 500. To secure one please use the form below to place a £5000 deposit and to indicate you would like one of the remaining LE builds, remember to tick the box marked LE Preferred otherwise the deposit will be queued to secure a subsequent MY01 Griffith."

Is my money at risk?
No – we would never allow that to be the case. We are well funded, and are here to stay! The deposit line has opened in response to a large number of requests from potential customers wishing to place a deposit on the basis of the information currently available both in the motoring press and on our website. If you do not consider this to be sufficient for you to decide whether or not you should place a deposit, we recommend you do not do so. However, if you pay by credit card, your payment is guaranteed by the credit card company.

The info is at odds with the FAQs. "What is the Launch Edition?
The Launch Edition is now fully allocated"
Actually I don't think that you are covered if you have paid by credit card. The item that you are buying has to cost more than £100, but less than £30,000 and the Griffith is more than £30,000.
If the goods are £25,000 and you paid a deposit of £500 on your card, then you are protected. But if the goods cost more than £30,000 then you are not protected by Section 75.
