Cracking deal. Great for winter/sport modes alike. Can ruin these for fun at that rate. thumbup
A case of legislation requiring all cars in countries with poor winter conditions to require Winter Tyres I seem to remember, the companies producing tyres that are cost effective for even the lowliest of car owners for good safety reasons or something like that. It does mean a modern tyre that’s very cost effective on light sportscars.
RS 3 on a Tuscan, that’s sounds like a whole lot of fun to me. Wouldn’t you want wider rears than 225?

width of tyre depends on width of wheel. I have 7 x 17's and cannot go wider than 225

You don’t need much more of a recommendation. bow
Driving Europe in a Tvr, that’s real special, one with an LS, way out there biggrin

Agree with Magpies I use 17.5 front and rear wheels, 215 on front is plenty wide enough on a 45 profile or would cause problems on my Chimeara.
235 rears are spot on for the Chim.

Not enough of us doing it or at least talking about it much on these pages anymore so it’s just great to hear. I’ve managed one ill fated trip to see a hot French lady in my Tvr. Can’t remember much about the falling out of love bit but the driving still sits right up there in the memory rofl she was sooo fit too biglaugh

I still had some old tech crap tyres on then come to think about it,,, damn pity!

Another good deal, but not sure how the 5's perform against the excellent 3's

Taking the 7 spoke Estorils off so my Griff' Pre-cat is back as nature intended in 1992.
