Please think carefully before posting anything regarding litigation as it's a dodgy area to be discussing on a public bulletin board.

You can be sure that there will be lots of litigation soon. Unless they are going to employ some Germans to build the US spec Tuscans.

The build quality should start to improve as there is a new guy incharge of it and he also has to do all the test driving.

He has been with the company since the late 70's so he knows a thing or two about them. Its not all fun and games test driving TIV's as I am sure you can appreciate. Just give it time and I am sure things will improve. (I hope).

I only know of two people at the factory who have been there since the late 70's. He's not a relative of your's, by any chance, Claire? Juan Hu Nose (but is sometimes wrong )

There are more than 2 people who have been there since the 70's. He may be a relative but if he is not doing his job or I think he is wrong then I will say so. He is one of those people who call a spade a spade. If something is wrong and he can fix it, it will get fixed - no arguments. I don't envy the job he has to do, I read the posts and tell him what the customers think or if there are queries I will ask and see if he can help. Sometimes he can do something about it but other times his hands are tied. Give it time. If I know this bloke and I do - things should improve.

Yep, if it's the same bloke I think it is, he'll kick a few backsides and get things sorted. Wish him luck!

don't know who the hell you're on about but I can see how his job could be a bit "between a rock and a hard place", I suppose if he has a raport with PW it will help to get things done, hope he does cos TVR has lots of potential.....I could still test the cars tho to give him more time for dealing with other matters

Only time will tell for improvments in quality but if things go wrong and its a warranty matter...then he gets it in the neck from someone else and to be honest I would rather face an angry Hippo than them I will let him know about the test driving although it can be hair-raising at times.

Thank for your comments and replies . Gaffer --- who are you ? You appear to have inside knowledge. Who is this bloke in charge of the new "TVR Customer Care, Rapid Response Unit"? Is Mr Wheeler worried about the general undercurrent of disatisfaction? What has prompted him to take this action? What is his FPH rate at the moment(Fags per hour)Its always a good indicator as to someones state of mind! Let me know ps. Since my origional question was about litigation (for which I have little information, come on ).To keep me out of the dock I had better clarify the fags I refer to are Benson and Hedges, etc.

I am just a random bird that happens to know stuff. If I can help I will. I don't know what Peter is thinking but I can only assume that he knows people are not happy and will do something about it. If not then the company will go bye-byes and I am sure he and the rest of TVR don't want that to happen. I can't help you on the litigation side, I think there have been cases in the past but don't know the details or the outcome.

Unless all the unhappy speed six owners get together and form some kind of alliance then you won,t get anywhere.TVR have you over a barrel to get a full refund if you are unhappy with your car you,ve got 14 days!!!How do i know?,because i have tried myself and unless you can prove that this engine has a design fault(which i believe it does),you won,t stand a chance. If anybody out there feels the same and is unhappy about how they have been treated by the factory then please continue on this thread. If there is a good responce then i will leave a contact number at a future date.If nobody bothers then i will have to believe that my car is the only one that keeps blowing up.

Thanks for the info, well be in touch, and as for Mr Wheeler, he hasn,t heard the last of this from me .Its just a shame that all the other mugs with blown up speed six engines don,t get of there backsides and kick TVR,S!!I can,t understand how with a factory overflowing with broken Tuscans and Cebera Speed Six,s that they can carry on as if nothing is wrong with there product, or is it that the speed six engine owners are wery caring and don,t mind being without there TIV,s for weeks on end and seeing there cars prices droping like a stone.(seen Cerbera Speed Six,s 2000 spec going for £27k!!!and Tuscans from £29K!!!!).
