This looks like a simple Tuscan front and rear reshell to me, why would anyone think this is worth £102K? And why doesn't the advert have any details about this unique car??

" AT THIS PRICE WONT BE HERE FOR LONG"

Here, let me edit that advert for you:

" AT THIS PRICE WONT BE HERE FOR LONG"

The edges of the transmission tunnel cover are tragic for a £100k+ car:

You would need to be smoking something to buy that. This is a Tuscan mk1 with a Sag Front and Rear end, it does look well done.

A proper Sag is going for around £70K to £80K which will be far superior and a better "investment", plus a load of coin left over.

Isn't it illegal to advertise something as something different to what it is ?
A Tuscan Mk1 can't be advertised as a Sagaris under trades description act ?
Maybe Piston Heads gurus should be more careful about what is advertised on their site .

Does anyone know the history of this car, who did the conversion/build etc?
There’s very little info about the car, more about the fact they have a plush showroom ??
What is it worth realistically?

Me too!

I think the colour is absolutely stunning.

However, the price is bonkers.

Ad says they'll deliver to you for test drive.

How many miles can we get them to clock up chasing a sale?

Someone would make a very serious mistake it they bought that thinking it was a proper Sag.

Surely has to be called a replica or recreation or whatever the car dealers use to smooth this sort of thing these days.

It is. Its an offence contrary to the Misrepresentation Act 1967. There are 2 types of misrepresentation - fraudulent and innocent. No prizes for guessing which one the seller would plead as he probably hasn't a clue about a targa Sag. scratchchin

...which he could only plead up to the moment that someone (here?) educates him on the error of his ways. wink
Then he'd have to reword the ad, right?
