Here again the Tyre question (running 15” & 16" wheels)

I have a Chimaera 500 and still run 15” at the front and 16” at the rear (I am a lucky bugger and own a second set of Estoril wheels, so if I wanted to I could run 16” at the rear and front…).
Anyway, I currently have:
- Toyos R1R 225/50/15 at the front
- Toyos T1R 245/45/16 at the rear

My rear ones need changing now, but I would consider changing the rear and the front if needed.

Anyway, I believe the R1R is much better that the T1R, but I cannot find them.

From what I hear the Toyo Proxes TR1 is the follow up to the T1R.

Questions:
1) How does the TR1 compare with the R1R?
2) Does anyone know where I can find a set of R1R in 245/45/16?
3) What would you guys go for if you had to go for 15” at the front and 16” at rear?
4) Recently someone told me that Kumho Ecsta Le Sport where good, but I cannot find them in the above sizes.
5) I do not really want to go down the R888 route as I have heard they are a handful in the wet… and my car is a handful in the wet with good tyres already (500). I Do not do many miles per year but I use her all year around…
