Is it just me or am I just at the wrong place? I have hardly seen any TVR this summer year? I do lots of driving around the Cotswolds. I've only encountered a few Chims, a griff and a Tuscan for the past 6 months! I have seen more Morgans than TVR's this summer!?!? Are the fellow TVR owners preserving the cars for future value?

Apart from my own, I don’t think I’ve seen any on the road this year.

Between 2010 and 2018 I did almost 37,000 miles in my Chim.

Rarely did I see another Tvr, when I did it was just “ wow how cool is that”

Very rare cars and even rarer during a damp summer frown

I have seen 4 today - we are all at Snetterton, giving the cars some proper exercise at the speeds for which they were designed....

I bought a Sag that was 3-miles away from another owner in the next village. Both rural villages, both owners regular drivers and owned their cars for years. Neither had seen the other biggrin

Well there were around 120 TVR's a couple of weeks ago in the Peak District ripping up the tarmac.

I saw 3 Chimaera's, a Wedge and a Vixen (I think) at the Bo'ness Revival/Hill Climb on Sunday. Pretty sure one of the Chim's was from Carbin Garage on Youtube (is he on here?) and had a good chat with the Wedge owner.

The Vixen was competing, but I didn't see it run unfortunately.

I’ve owned a TVR for 18 years and used as a daily for about 8 of those years. Unless I was attending a meet of some sort then I have only seen about a dozen other TVRs whilst out driving. Rare beasts indeed.

Five entered for the Brighton Speed Trials next Saturday, including Dave Morris's intercontinental ballistic missile cool
A good day out, highly recommended.

I saw 10 today and worked on 3 of them. Does that count?

I have seen two in recent months out on the road - a nice Chimaera turning into a petrol station near where i live, and a Tuscan down in Surrey

Agreed. Hardly seen any thing year.

Spotted a purple Griff 500 on the M25 last weekend but that all..

Like mine, perhaps they are now garage queens.

My claim to fame

Tvr spotted on M25 a few years ago, only a picture of me and the Chim returning from France after an epic drive up from the south.

Well chuffed I was too biggrin

Few and far between here in Herefordshire. If it's not pouring I take my Wedge most days to the office at Ludlow. Mate up the road has a 5l Griff he uses a fair bit. There are two Chimps about, plus one Wedge in bits having it's chassis sorted. As far as I know that's all I've seen in the county.
