I am in New Zealand and have been trying to contact TVR parts in UK for a few weeks via their website and email but am getting no reply. I have sent about 10 messages. Does anyone know if they have gone out of business or what might be the issue. I was going to order some parts but had a question first and am reluctant to go ahead to ordering .
Cheers

I emailed them a few times over a few days a couple of months ago and they never bothered replying.

I then phoned them and they answered straightaway!

They didn't have any excuse about answering emails although parts ordered arrived within a day or two .

Not really good enough in this day and age.

Yes, I've given up emailing them about if parts are in stock, they have never answered an email. The phone works though, usually...

I've ordered stuff and actually been given a partial refund, twice, because the items I bought cost less to post than I was charged for. Very fair I think.

On the messaging front, ACT never answered my emails. But I got a prompt answer to a phone call and the item I wanted quickly sorted out!

Try one of the other main suppliers like Racetech or Powers. Always very happy to help. wink

I stopped using TVR Parts when they never said the parts I had ordered were not in stock. I was given a lecture by one of their people about how they were doing so much to keep the parts situation alive so we should all be grateful. I cancelled the order and have never used them since.

Guess I shouldn't hold out for a reply asking for clarification on a part that doesn't have a photo then....

My experience; ACT useless with emails but great on phone, TVR PARTS ltd a bit hit and miss all round. They over charged me for postage several times, but they do refund. Sent parts back that didn't fit and took ages (4weeks +) to get a refund.

No, I think you were being asked what the part number was in case someone can find you a pic. or describe the part for you.

Here's a pic of it at Powers Performance - it looks different to me?

http://www.powersperformance.co.uk/store/slug/heat...

And the pic from TVR Parts - looks the same?

https://tvr-parts.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tvr-s...

Someone will be along shortly with a definite yes or no.

IME beware what you order - they often catalogue things incorrectly and this can prove very expensive....... to my cost. I wont be using them again which is a shame as i've bought off them plenty enough....... ACT your friend
