My precat seems to have a 500 Y piece (and possibly manifolds) but no lamda sesnsors (it's a precat after all biggrin)

It seems to be quite quiet for a precat so I was wondering if the Cats are still in the Y piece and/or manifolds. How can I tell (and remove them) without cutting them up?

You won’t have to cut anything up... Either separate the y-piece clamps enough to poke a bit of wire in or something to see if there’s anything there (either in the manifolds, y-piece or both) or take the y-piece out completely. Alternatively take the underfloor system off and poke a bit of wire up from the underside and see how far it gets?

I'm no expert but they don't look like precat manifolds or Y-piece. I think the stamped numbers identify the catalyst, they could still be removed. As above though you could unclamp them to have a look inside. A USB "snake cam" would come in handy for this.
