To get an Agreed Value with an insurer we are typically asked to get one from "a recognised independant or expert club valuation".

Given that TVR are still currently defunct and the Owners Club very usefully don't offer this service any longer (as far as I'm aware), who do you use to give a valuation and has been accepted by you insurer?

I purchased my car from Str8six and use them for servicing each year so they were happy to provide a valuation, which the Insurer had no problem accepting.
Typically, I guess the insurer didn't give you any suggestions of who they'd accept from? If purchased from a dealer, may be worth trying them, or your chosen garage for your yearly Services.

Classic line and Adrian Flux do self valuation for anything under a hundred grand.
Fill in forms , send pictures cost about twenty quid on top of your premium.

Others must offer this I imagine.

I'm with ClassicLine too and just got my agreed valued insurance from them today, based on a Valuation from TVRCC that I received yesterday.

Get TVRCC to do it for you then send this and 6 photos to ClassicLine and you'll be fine.

I included a valuation from a dealer as well as the private sale receipt too to back up the value I was requesting but don't think that's necessary on most TVRs

Footman James is self valuation too. They charge £10 for agreed value. You may have to fill in a condition form but for my Chimaera I didn't even have to do that.

A second opinion from a specialist may be asked for if you're after a very high valuation.

A-Plan just wanted a few photos & a declaration.

Flux valued my Chimaera £3.5k less than A-Plan
