Does anyone use laid up insurance and who with?

Me. Classic Line. Very easy to convert back to on-road use each May.

Thank you, manning have got back to me at £145 a year. I don't know if that's good or bad but far cheaper than my normal quote I have been doing over the years. Only recently found out about this

My 1969 vixen with 2.8 V6 only cost me £87 fully comp, a year so cheap enough to keep insured all year .

I wonder what the difference is between "laid up" and a normal policy premium - probably not much?

I had mine with MSM as I use them for my regular insurance. Laid up cover for the Chim was around £75 last year

Do you have a normally-laid-up policy which you can convert to on-road for a few months?

Interested in how it works.
This would suit me better than what I do which is just pay for a full years on-road.

My Cerbera is on laid up insurance, i think it's £180. If during that period I wish to use it it reverts back to the original premium which is just under £300.
