Sad News for TVRCC West Wales

Sad news has recently been received in West Wales.

Monica the partner of Leon Hickman the long standing RO for the TVR Car Club West Wales Region, passed away suddenly on 19th May.

For those who wish to attend. Details of the funeral service are:-

Service on Thursday May 26 at Holy Trinity Church, Cothi Bridge at 3pm followed by interment at Llanegwad Cemetery. Family flowers only, please, but if desired donations in lieu to Meddygfa Towy Surgery, cheques only, please, c/o Peris Rice, of Oliver Evans and Son, Funeral Directors, 125 Priory Street, Carmarthen. I've met Leon several times at Pembrey and most recently at the sprint last Sept when I also met Monica. I had not realised that Monica was so unwell and am shocked and saddened to hear the news of her untimely death. I have very much appreciated Leon's enthusiasm and cameraderie and it is still my intention to get to one of the West Wales meetings.

If you are reading this Leon, there is nothing I can do or say that will ease the pain of your loss but you have my condolences and deepest sympathy at this sad time.
I hope that I'll get to see you again soon.

Very sad news indeed. We met up with Leon and Monica last year at Pembry after not seening them for about 12 years. John & I send Leon and family our condolence and deepest sympathy.

To say this was a shock to me was an understatement.
I have just come back from holiday but heard the news just before I went, so needless to say my thoughts have been with Leon Catherine and Claire.
A great loss to the TVR club as well as all those who knew Monica.
