My lad is after his first....best insurance?

Hello all. Knew it wouldn't be long. At 21 and with 4 years no claims he's succumbed and badly wants his first TiV. I suggested an S. Obviously insurance will be high but wondering if anyone young has had experience in this. His daily is a fiat500 abarth essesse which he uses his no claims. I think he only pays £250 odd fully comp.

Hi Mike, I was in a similar boat as your son. I’m 22 (got my TVR at 21). Had 4 years and daily a Mini JCW GP. I’ve got a 2.8 V6 S1 and insurance last year at 21 was £1100 with MyHIC. This year on the renewal it went down to £670. Limited mileage policy of 3k a year. You’ll have to ring them to get a quote, hope this helps 😀

Definitely do-able

I had my 400se at 21 insured with Lancaster for I think about £700. Come to think of it that was 15 years ago, so guess it would cost more than that now.

Tiv is a great choice and insurance is very good, now in my mid 30's the T350 is under £300 to insure.
