Don't do it! Run flats are the worst invention since reality tv shows.
They ruin the ride quality
They're effectively impossible to repair . (It's actually possible but almost all garages will either say it's impossible, or point blank refuse to do it.)
They're about 60-100% more expensive than proper tyres.
Many tyre places cannot remove them without damaging the rim
They wear much quicker than proper tyres.
The grip is substantially worse, especially in the wet.
BMW may be fitting them to many of it's models, but they're noticeably absent from the performance models (New M5 / 6) for good reason.
They're RUBBISH!

I get rather evangelical when someone mentions these! After having the bad luck to get bolts / screws in both front and rear tyres on the MINI, run flats have cost me £360 (had to replace all tyres for proper ones) rather than £30 (what it would cost to repair 2 tyres.)
