I am searching for a reasonable TVR dealer/servicing place somewhere in East Anglia. I am aware of Brundle TVR in King''s Lynn (don''t touch them, see marshy''s postings and also my other one), Kerridges TVR in Ipswitch but I also believe there is one in Cambridgeshire somewhere. If anyone has experience of Kerridges or the one in Cambridgeshire, please drop me a line as I am in need of some work (steering components) on my Chim 5.0ltr. Many thanks phil.cooke@iee.org

Where are you in east anglia? If Brundle's was an option distance wise, TMS @ melton mowbrey is an option. Not sure how good they are as I don't have a Tiv. Yet...... Sparks

I haven't had a service at TMS yet, but their general attitude and expertise has been a complete revelation compared to the Kings Lynn lot. The journey is slightly longer, but a lot more fun. From just west of Cambridge it takes in a short bit of A1, the A606 past Rutland Water to Oakham, then the Asomething up to Melton Moybray. Nice rolling windy roundy stuff. Takes me about the same time to get to TMS as it does to Kings Lynn, and I have a bigger smile on my face when I get there.

I use TMS in Melton Mowbray, they are the best TVR dealers I've dealt with and always very helpful, never any problems. They are the dealers of the East Midlands, pop along to Duxford on the 12th August (I think) and see them, they sponsor it. If you haven't already seen them before then.......

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm based near Norwich and so Melton Mowbray is not really an option. The worst of the problem is that my Tiv is not driveabale at the moment so it will need to be collected and hence delivered back to me. My car is provisionally booked into Kerridges for 10 days time!! Can I wait? Does anyone have experience of Kerridges? Where does the steering rack for a 1996 P reg 5.0 ltr Chimp come from? anyone out there know? Has anyone set up a website detailing where all of the doner parts come from? It would be a great site as it would allow all of us poor TVR drivers to source cheap parts without paying over the odds for them. All these questions, well suffice to say that once my Chimp is fixed, I shall be piling the miles on to it as I have haaaad it for 6 months and driven it for about 400 miles!! Looking forward to your replies. Phil

Hi Philip I too live near Norwich and had a Chimaera which was bought and serviced by Kerridges - Can't fault them! They also collect and deliver. When it's fixed please don't drive it around Norwich otherwise you will make me go and buy another!!!
