Since there aren´t a lot of pictures of spectraflair black painted cars i tought i´d put some online.

We restored a mk1 tuscan and decided to go for something a bit different.

I havent seen it myself yet, these were send to me by the paintshop

Can't wait to pick it up

Really like that, my colour of choice for a while now.

Can I ask where you bought the paint and if its spectraflair light or the full effect?

Cheers

It is the full effect spectraflair.
finally went to see it today, its stunning!!!
We got it via the painter in holland who contacted surface and design blackpool.
Altough you could also find the paint on several online webshops he told me(i believe its called arco iris )
Just Google holographic paint, if u find the right supplier i believe u should come pretty close to the original (if such a thing exists in tvr land) tvr paint
Its actually just a black basecoat with only 2 or 3 coats of spectraflair paint, nothing to difficult the painter told us
we are very pleased with the result so far smile
alltough the pictures dont do it justice, they give a good impression

That looks great. Looks like an oil slick on wheels which will really annoy some green persons :-)) 🍻

I had a Ferrari per alloy with 5% full spectraflair respray last year, amazing.

Falco - any more recent pictures of the car? Interested to see how the colour has been to live with since the respray?

Absolutely stunning. There's a thread on the Mclaren forum with a reflex paint which looks good, but nothing like the curves of a TVR.

I'd like to see this in less than perfect light to know if I could live with it though.

Very late update:

7 Years after the respray, the Tuscan is still going strong.
Here's a photo from last summer.

Never seen a car in that colour, looks glorious. The lines of the car really show off the shift in colours beautifully.
