So exciting news from London Motorshow's twitter account:

https://twitter.com/londonmotorshow/status/7154705...

Think the new car will be on the stand? Or will it just be a big poster with a variant of that photoshopped image that's been going around for ages?

I'm hoping, and believe, it'll be the former.

Anyone have access to floorplans for the show or something?

Nothing more than a marketing ploy by the event organisers, I suspect.

At best there may be some fancy drawings but I can't see any new model being shown yet.

I'd be disappointed if at least they don't have the engine on display (odds high they will?)

Maybe this will be an unveiling of styling promised his year?, maybe too early PR/Marketing wise?

If they're still aiming for a 2017 release date, this May wouldn't seem so early to show, if not a full car, a clay model at least?

Fingers crossed.

My expectations are running high...so I'm hoping for a return to the old days, like below..laugh

In all seriousness, I hope to see the specs and a clay model, at the very least.

I would love them to do a stunt like that hehe however I'm not sure anyone outside of TVR circles would 'get it'.

Here's hoping for a full mock up, at the very least a chassis and engine....

In TVR S Club circles, we reckon there may well be some attractive Welsh models on the TVR stand, promoting the new LS i-Scream creation to be built in Ebbw Vale....

If they don't get your loins stirred, how about this babe?

Probably just a casual one nighter, passing sheeps in the night, if you must...

As someone that's a full deposit holder but not a member am I entitled to 2 free entry passes then?

Just re read what it says, everyone that is a deposit holder just needs to rock up with ID and their deposit reference to gain entry for 2 persons...have I read that right?

Official announcement from TVR

For those who are official customers...

<<
TVR Manufacturing will be attending its first motorshow event in over 10 years, the 2016 London Motor Show being held at London's Battersea Evolution development.

The show will have three public days, from Friday May 6th to Sunday May 8th and in addition to us being there, a host of other attractions will be on display.

While we will not be unveiling the car just yet, through our presence and displays we wish to provide both a 'progress report' and a glimpse of the new car's shape and proportion. Throughout the show there will be an on-going live reveal by members of the design team.

We are pleased to let you know that we have we have a number of free tickets available to you as customers for either the Friday or Sunday, so if you are planning to visit us and would like tickets, please let us know by replying to this email stating your preferred day (Friday or Sunday) and the number of tickets (Max 2) that you require. We will then despatch tickets to your postal address in good time prior to the event.

We would be delighted to meet you at the show, the doors open from 10am and more details can be found directly on the show's official website http://thelondonmotorshow.co.uk
