Plenum clearance on the V8

Can anyone please measure up the height to the top of the plenum (in the middle at its highest point) from the top of the rocker covers please?? Also does anyone know the minimum clearance between the plenum and closed bonnet on a Griff??

7" on a single plenum.

7.5" on a triple.

I have recently fitted an SC Power plenum spacer and the plenum now rubs against the bonnet heat shielding. As the spacer is 15mm thick then that must be what the clearance was before.

Well I wish I knew what I'm doing!!

The ITB,s are staying, for the time being, trying to work up some induction.

Thanks both, so I can work on an approximate gap between top of rocker covers and closed bonnet at roughly 7.5 inches
