S2 Trim

The leather trim under the sun visors and along the top of the screen is coming away at the front edge on my S2. I can't simply re-glue as it not longer reaches the fixing lip. If anyone can help with advice it would be appreciated.

Don't think there is an easy/DIY option on this.

I'd try a couple of local car trimmers to have a look and see what they suggest. I suspect that the 'fix' will involve removing the 'screen and then inserting a new piece of trim. I think, from your description that the 'leatherette' has shrunk over the years and pulled on the glue...giving you the break-away that you can see.

Might be worth posting on the 'S' forum to see if any of those guys have had a similar issue and how they sorted it?
