Problem with TVRCC

Anyone else experiencing problems logging onto the tvrcc website? I log in and it tells me i'm in the members' forum but when i click onto an area e.g regional forum or model discussion it asks me to log in again? And so on and so on!!

Hi Jimbo

Not had that problem! Mind you they are saved as favorites on my computer so it goes strait to the page with out a problem and I don't have to log in!

Try clearing your browser cache. Usually helps with that wonderful piece of forum software

TVRCC Website changes

We will be updating various bits of the TVRCC website with a new 'look' over the next couple of weeks.
This will be done in various phases as the TVRCC website is made up of a number of distinct sections and areas that do different things at different levels of complexity. We will then move onto the TVRCC regional sites over the following few months where these are 'club' designed ones.

NOTE TO TVRCC WEB EDITORS - please do not make any changes or edits on Monday 19th March.

Hopefully there will not be too much inconvenience. But thanks for your patience in advance!

Yes it's still used by quite a few people. Mainly for information not as a social site!

Not on the TVRCC Wedge site or very rarely the Cambridge site!

I have to agree with Andy there. Was expecting the Wedge section of the TVRCC website to be alive with information. It isn't. This forum is MUCH more useful!

And whilst I'm having a moan, it's a similar deal with Sprint. There are hardly any proper techical articles on anything (take a look at the Jag owners club magazines, LOTS of tech articles).

Personally I'm not bothered about the whole event write ups that happen, and seem to take over most of the magazine.
If I'm at an event, I know what happened, if I wasn't at an event I probably wasn't interested enough in the first place.

Altogether a bit disapoointiing, will think twice about renewing my membership tbh.

IMHO the TVRCC magazine is only as good as the effort put into it by members.

There are plenty willing to criticise but very few willing to bother to write articles etc.

Exactly and the majority of articles that come from members are written about events.

I have tried to write a few technical articles recently such as the Speed6/AJP comparison and have others in the pipeline and we've had several 'howto' pieces recently but they take a long time to research and put together so that they're not inaccurate and again remember we're all part time volunteers so what we do has to fit in with the day job.

Its not easy filling a 64 page magazine now there's nothing coming from the Factory and comparing us to Jaguar is frankly ridiculous as they have much more heritage, cars and people who want to write about the marque not to mention a still active factory.

Not got a problem with TVRCC at all, as it goes.

The magazines great IMHO (I dont want a haynes manual through the door every month)

Events
Racing (all types)
Social
Regional
Calendar
Not sure what else you could put in.
Have been to many of the events, Tracked, raced, read the technical. In short, no probs.

Still on here ofcourse. They aren't exclusive you know.
BTW when was the last time PH sponsored anything TVR? Had any "News" "Techy stuff"?
Its all forum generated...ie by us! Not having a go here, Been in both for years. Each have their place.

I agree with David it's very unfair to compare the TVRCC to a huge marque such as Jaguar and most of the people if not all are doing it whilst holding a full time job. I enjoyed the article last year about the pre-production AJP6 engine that was a really good read.
