School Boy error , forgot to plug in my trickle charger a couple of months ago,( on my much under used 4.3 Griff ) and went to start her up and nothing , not even the sound of the noisy clock ! Been on trickle charge for 3 or 4 days now and as soon as this was switched on the alarm light has been flashing continually and the bleeper will not switch alarm red indicator off . The guys at Fernhurst suggest that once the battery has more charge , ie a few more days then I should be able to turn off alarm and start car . Should I be confident that this will work ? Appreciate any comments .

Should do, the immobiliser doesn't like being bought gradually back up to full voltage. Disconnect the battery when you charge it then introduce it at full charge.
