Thought I would join this as just bought a T350T. Applied online, nothing happened, left messages, noone has rung back.

Are they difficult to get in touch with? Contact etc?

I guess I'll keep waiting?

Contacting Alison in the office? I can usually get hold of her without problems.

If you applied and paid online then it should be automatic and the office sends you out a pack within a week or so.

I find they aren't that responsive to email, so I usually ring during the first part of the week either morning or afternoon. I do know the office staff are going to a club expo this weekend, so maybe wait until Tuesday and try again.

I'm by no means a TVRCC fanatic, but having been a member for a year and a half I've found my time with the club invaluable. Forgetting the fact that you get a very proffessional monthly magazine, all the discounts from most of the TVR suppliers and serices, amazing events such as TAG11 and The old timers at the Ring. I have met some fantastic people and made some great friends, to the extent that I have now employed the services of one to help with my organisation of my Rally. Granted, some things can be a bit clicky and I must admit I am dissappointed by the response from "head office" or should say the lack of! But the club as a whole is well worth the £40 a year.

I agree. I saved 12% on a set of Toyos R888s and got a discount on my insurance which all more than paid for the annual subscription.

I was a member for three years and gained nothing more than a magazine full of adverts every month. The discounts didn't really amount to much, especially as I do all my own work on the car and have sourced 99% of parts I've fitted outside of the 'community' as such.

When I joined, the previous owner of my car said I could transfer his membership. A phone call into the office and they sorted everything and couldnt have been more helpful. I have renewed since.

Does anyone else have the same problem I do? On a mobile platform I can't post anything- you tap the reply box & it doesn't bring up the key board on your phone to type.Everything else is fine but it doesn't work on my phone,the wifes phone or the iPad!

I had that problem as well. I upgraded the iOs version and cleared the cache and it worked.

Where in UK are you shidevil ? We are trying to develop a ' user friendly' region in the Tees Valley by involving as many as possible in as many events as possible to make them as enjoyable for those who attend. We welcome TVRCC members and Pistonheaders alike. We just love our cars.

From Camskill. Discount code is on the TVRCC benefits page. 12% on Toyo R888s and R1Rs plus free delivery. A significant saving but I was told they used to give a 20% discount! Also when I spoke to them on the phone to confirm they were most helpful and really knowledgeable.

I met up with the tvr club last year at a show and have to say they were a great bunch.I think all clubs can be a bit clicky at times,i will join this year and will stay a member,as i think many hands/heads makes light work.

AFAIK there is no longer a discount on Toyos.

As with most clubs/enthusiasts meets etc you only tend to get as much out of it as you're prepared to put into it. It doesn't suit everybody,but then nothing does.
