Spotted - TVR Tim's aural delights
Discussion
Had to drive to Chatham today for work, reasonable length drive from Chichester.
Rubbish day, boring drive home in Enterprise's finest eco diseasal Leon.
Stopped at a set of lights, and heard the joyful noise of a Maserati Gran Turismo giving some beans on the opposite carriageway. Bloody wonderful, and led me to challenge my previous holder of 'best sounding car', the humble Chimera.
Few miles later, in traffic. Spot a Chim in a superb deep blue ahead. Filtering past, I drop the passenger window to hear the staccato off-beat at idle. Said Tiv swapped places with me a few times - each time my window would drop.
Seems the owner got the hint, as bagfuls of beans on a dropped clutch ensued, brightening my drive home massively, and reasserting the Chim at the top of my aural tree.
Cheers Tim, lovely car. I was looking at RX7s to replace my written off Eunos. As its a pure weekend car, I now think the Chim is worth a look.
Wonder if Fernhurst have anything nice in?
