hi guys,

as im not to far away, i thought id pop up here to take a look at some TVR's in the flesh.

there was a nice green chim in there at what looked like a decent price.

I didnt realise Cerbs were as big in comparison to a chim, LOL

Anyone any experience of these guys?

Just collected my Cerbera from there today after a fuel tank repair - they are very ggod, quite a few of the Scottish guys have bought from HHC - some of them several cars, so that tells you something.

Absolutely first rate, bought my Chim from them in 2010, we agreed a price and then they found outriggers where shot after discussion they agreed to go with the agreed price and replace outriggers. Very impressed even though I was paying top dollar before work found , speak to Tony if you have any queries, genuine guy who lives and breathes TVRs.

Not experienced myself but my car was bought and sold by them a few times along with being serviced most of its life so it looks like previous owners were happy enough.

Another happy customer here. Agree Tony is a genuine guy who's been around TVR for longer than most. I travelled from Reading to see the car I ended up buying. Great communication, and stayed open till almost 9pm on a friday night when I went to collect it and was running late!
Wish they were closer to us southerners!!!

Tony is one top guy. Iv'e known him now for around 14 years and if you cut him in half it would say TVR down the middle. The service he provides is second to none.

Richard is an absolutely brilliant guy. As you say, he knows his stuff inside-out, but he's also great at keeping you informed of progress on your car.

And Kevin summed up Tony perfectly - if you cut him in half it would say TVR all the way through...

Another thumbupfrom me. As said before Richard is very helpful and knowledgeable. My Tuscan is there at the moment getting a service and reburb steering rack/pump, but while it is in Richard and the guys always give the car a thorough going over just to make sure there are no issues. They have helped me out when I had an issue with another garage and have always given me good advice as well as a coffee while waiting. Also they do have some very nice metal in there for sale.

+1 for me. Tony and his team are always professional and willing to help. I have had two TVR's from HHC in the last 8 years. The second one I bought from pictures sent to me by Tony which has to be a true leap of faith. Their service has always been first rate and their knowledge of TVR's second to none.

Over 10 years with HHC: technically sound, unfailingly reliable and helpful.
It feels like you are not so much taking the car for service, as visiting friends.

I bought by Cerbera S6 from Tony last year. Best car buying experience I've had & would highly recommend HHC (great test drive roads on door step too!).

You're absolutely right Richard, the only difference is that your friends don't lighten your wallet when you visit (well, most of mine don't...)

Not that I grudge it - you know your car has been well looked after, and their costs have always been reasonable.

My Chim failed it's MOT a few years ago with the dreaded chassis rot, it wasn’t just an outrigger job, the whole chassis needed replacing. I took it to Hexham and they really done a first class job. No rattles or squeaks, it drove like a new car. I bought a Tuscan from Tony about 18 months ago and it has been superb.

That there, is the sign of a great garage. No experience of them personally OP, but good luck in your search.
