I have a spectra flair silver T350 and between Christmas and new year will parked in the car some women pulled up in a car next to me, she opened the door of her car only for the wind to catch it and send it crashing in to my passenger door. it has taken two large chips out the door (about the size of a 1p piece), she was apologetics and i got all her details, however i dont know how easy this is going to be repaired. can you just 'blow in' the area or will the whole door need painted?

Is there anyone in scotland that works with spectraflair paint? or am i going to have to send it to surface and design. any help would be appreciated.

hi, theres no way u would be able to just blow the door in. at the very minimum the whole side of the car will need doing, i would recommend taking it to a specialist in special paint finishes and have them do it, after all, the woman will be paying. ps. ive been a car painter for 15 yrs and so understand the importance of using someone who is used to using specialised paints. hope this helps, phil

I would recommend a repair centre on the outskirts of Edinburgh who did a fantastic job on my TVR. If it's of interest or you'd like a chat about it let me know.

There is no reason why you would have to paint the whole side of your car.
Yes remove the door, blow in the repairs and laquer the full outer skin.
Spectraflair can be blown in like most colours.
