Re built LS3 Griff

After nearly a whole year i got to drive the car for the first time yesterday!!!
Initial feeling is why the hell did i not do this sooner, the engine is just epic with serious torque and that was without going over 3000 rpm well maybe just a little over, everything feels very tight after the re-build so need to get some miles on the car, got some issues with the new wheels and tyres rubbing on the front but love the new brakes.The 225 front tyres felt heavy with no power steering compared to my old 16's with 205's. The new elise seats felt great and offer loads more support although i have had to butcher them for the harness straps.
Up north now for a re-trim. I know i'm spoilt with the 350 as well but i've missed the Griff

Hi mate, know what you mean about the forward manifolds but i've still managed to fill the area with the Acusump,Ecu etc, your going to love the power delivery should pull up the hill at Spa Ok next year, just got to get it dialled in now, i have a set of the new Gaz shocks on [i know you prefer Nitrons but untill the wallet stretches to a set of ohlins they are more than up to my needs] Although these seem rock solid so need to check my spring ratings with dereck .Sounds good to with 3.5inch tailpipes
You'll be pleased to know the new seats on runners so unlike the 350 some more leggy folk can have a go, deposit and passport dependant!

I'm not too clever when it comes to these GM small blocks; what is it - 5.7 litres?

Anyone who could get one of those heavy old Yamaha up, one handed is cool in my book, but thanks for the positive comments guys i've put alot into this conversion[ mainly £££] so its good to get the thing out there and used.

These ls3 engines really are special. I did 2450 miles in 3 weeks in a new c6 vette recently and as soon as i drove the car i loved the motor. Bags and bags of torque but still really quite revvy, quite good consumption.

In a tvr it must be nothing short of serious. I WANT ONE BADLY !
