The other option is to get a good 'road policy' and insure, per event using these people:
Competition Car Insurance
At a guess, (clearly you'd need to check this) I'd bank on paying in the region of £120 to £160 per event, depening obviously on car/driver/event details.
It is something that I had to do when I was with Mannings and wanted to do non-TVRCC Track Days. I also use these people to insure my sprint/hillclimb events, and the service is very good.
Although I've never had to make a claim yet - and that of course is always the true test of any insurer.
But lets drop the subject of claims now because I'm off to Aintree tomorrow, it's likely to be wet, and I'm not too happy
about Beechers corner where you changing from 3rd to 4th, through the bend, with the Grand National fences on the outside of the olf GP circuit, ready to punish any errors...
