I went for a particularly boring, accountants' type Eurobox so that I wouldn't forget that I wasn't in the TVR. If you can stand being restricted to only one lane of the motorway a Beemer is for you. Suits you, Sir!

You are right of course. But I love driving...and if I buy a non drivers A to B sensible box I will hate it after 30 minutes. I have in the past purchased sensible cars...will the predicable result. I would rather spend a bit more and enjoy myself. I hope this doesn't sound too decadent but hell you only live once
I've test driven both the EVO VIII FQ330 and the Scoob STI with PPP recently. I would go for the scoob as
a) engine character, you love it as soon as you start it up.
b) I preferred the interior and felt that the controls (pedals, gearchange etc) worked better, though this might just be because I owned an old style turbo for 5 years.
c) decent service interval
EVO did run rings round the scoob for handling tho. The scoob rolled more in the corners yet had the worst ride.
For a four door drivers car, £30k max new, I can't think of any competition. RX8 was nice for style but not quick enough.
See if you can get in on a cancelled WR1!

Have you been on Play station 2 Colin McRay well driving a evo 7 is just like that but worse
they are awesome cars BUT the dam thing will kill you put it against the Impretza its a better car but it is not forgiving at all, very grin inducing but not in the TVR class at all imho!
