Had to laugh today, the Chimaera cover was up for renewell today and it has been on 'laid up' cover for the previous year. I received a phonecall from them today to renew and was told that 'accident legal cover' at an additional £30 was compulsory on this policy????
I proceeded in enlightening the telesales guy as to what laid up meant.......

Needless to say the renewal went through without

They did me the pleasure of sending out my renewed documents without postage, seems they couldnt afford the £1.92 postage after banking the £580 fee.

Quite frankly you should have paid the £30 as a fine for being such a Jessie and not driving your car for a year

It does appear though that the extra cost does help to manage the claim in a fire or theft legal situation though. Confusing.
