My Tamora, a story of ugly ducking to white swan (IMHO)
Discussion
Hi guys as some of you know and have followed my Tams complete makeover at Track V Road. My car was a little bit tatty (oh ok Richard it was alot tatty) its carpet had gone green from the sun, the nasty bison trim was worn and faded. It needed a 12k service and steering rack had leaked, wheels were dinked. The shocks at rear were leaking.Lots of good things, engine ran fantastic very low miles and I loved this little ugly duckling.
The final staw after booking it in for a new carpet was the clutch finally let go and off on the AA magic carpet ride to Clitheroe it went.
The repair list i gave to Craig was extensive, plus an mot was needed.During this time I found a pair of Tam seats in leather colour I wanted.Snag was the seats were in Leeds!! Craig said dont worry Geoff I will drive over and pick them up ( he also paid for them).Car needed lots of other unseen things. Track V road took my car over to D and C in Blackpool to get carpet and top dash and door cards trimmed (screen had to come out)The result is a truly fantastic interior and the guys were a pleasure to deal with.
The car then had 12k service, tappets, quick release bonnet pins plus my list!! The guys kept me in the loop and at times it was like a senior surgeon delivering more and more bad news on a sick patient. However the car was finished, Hurrah !!! My wheels, as mentioned were dinked ( ok Richard they were trollied ) I was never that keen on titanium grigio after owning a beautiful spectraflair silver T350T so we discussed possibility of a respray. WoW too many noughts What about a colour change wrap???
We looked at various types and decided on a 3M pearlescent white, with carbon fibre wraps on black areas.A gloss black set of spiders went on as well. The pictures show what a difficult project it was, this was Track V roads first full wrap on a car.The result was only 80% of what Richard and Craig were happy with and they decided not to charge me. I am happy with car and can only thank the guys for their fantastic service and attention to detail, so many things were done free of charge. It is so rare in todays world to still be able to deal with genuine people who love their business and give this level of customer satisfaction. Thanks a million.Richard,Craig,Ian and team take a bow. The car is so well sorted and looks brilliant.I am a very happy driver , cheers Geoff
ps i will load more pics from phone with smaller jpeg size
