Ride height and Camber
Discussion
It's all in a perl program I wrote to analyse suspension settings.
Grab http://tvr.dspen.com/camber/camber.pl and install strawberry perl to run or the Perl/TK modules on unix.

Am i correct in thinking that raising the ride height will descrease the camber?
Would anyone have the geometrical knoledge to say approximately how much the camber would be affexted if the ride height was raised by an inch?
Hi Derek Would anyone have the geometrical knoledge to say approximately how much the camber would be affexted if the ride height was raised by an inch?
i may be able to have some input, not sure if it will a definitive answer or not
i am picking up my car tonight after having new shocks fitted, recently i had to have new tyres put on the front as within less than 2000 miles the tyres had worn through to the wire on the inside quarter of both front tyres.
i think they adjusted the geometry so as to change the camber and was told it was much much better, but they could not get it dead right as the shocks were worn.
i spoke to garage today and they said that they had lifted the ride height on the front a little which had the desired effect and the car was now set up correctly geometry wise and camber ( same thing?)
i think i asked the right questions and have reported the results accurately, but if i havent please dont shoot me down because i am no expert and dont claim to be
