Hi, I am looking for an interesting plate for my Chimaera. I initialy thought i would like something with 450 in it, ie R 450 WOW , but cannot see anything with 450 on it . Did the DVLA not use 450 ??

Yes, but not a 'cherished' plate so not on the DVLA low numbers lists. If you are set on 450 need to look elsewhere like RT or ebay or go for a '4' followed by a SO in the letters if you don't mind that sort of thing...

Ring the DVLA and ask for the number. If it hasn't been previously issued they will list it and you will have to bid at auction or submit a tender.

I have TAM 450S on my Tamora. I bought this after the upgrade, but DVLA only 2 weeks after buying it they finally agreed after 10 years of me asking, to put GET 51S up for auction (so of course I had to buy it). Now I'm in a dilema as I would prefer GET 51S on the car. If you want to confuse people TAM 450S would be nice on the Chim or any Tamora owners wanting a new plate for their 4.5 upgrade.

I registered an interest with the DVLA for a number plate and they put it up in there next auction. I got it for £247 in the end all inclusive
