Ive looked up and down both paint code lists and Iam still not sure. Iam after some touch up paint for my 95 Chim, in my handbook it states Crimson red met but the code is blank? On the plate under the bonnet it states P422-9004.
On one of the lists there are 2 crimson/bordeaux listed with 9004B??? Iam not sure if this is the details I need. Please could somebody tell me what I need to order the touch up and where is best to order it from???

Nexa back on line,
9004B is the code for Nexa paint.
In TVR terms this means it could be called Bordeaux Red or Crimson and is a Jaguar colour 714 or CEV Crimson.
You should be able to get some paint from any automotive paint supplier using the Jag codes.
Make sure you look at a colour chip before buying.

How did you get on with the Jag codes, please? (I ask as I've got the same P422-9004 code on mine!)

Hi

Not brilliantly so far! Ive tryed a place that supplys genuine Jag touch up kits for older models (think Jag used this colour in the late 80's early 90's). This company keeps saying they will be able to sort it but so far they only have CFF and CEK available not CEV. Ive kept meaning to contact some of the these companys that mix it from the code but just not had chance/keep forgetting but now you've reminded me and clearly this original paint company isn't coming up with anything! I'll have another go this weekend.

If you do any better I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

Regards

Mike
