Why do the alarms on TVR's sometime beep when you lock them and sometimes not.
My Chimaera did it and now my Tuscan does it.

I can't for the life of me figure out why banghead

It will beep (3 times I think) if one of the doors or the boot is not closed correctly.

The car will only beep if you have a door/boot/ Bonnet sensor activated when you switch the alarm on

It is very often the bonnet switch

It is easily adjusted and is by the main bonnet catch.

Thanks - Didn't know they had sensors.

So the beep means the car is alarmed but not locked properly.
