Just a heads up guys for anybody selling their car. I've got my Taz Racer up for sale in the classifieds and a guy who calls himself Tony Fowler, of email address [e-mail], is enquiring about it. He obviously knows nothing about race cars and is just after my bank details.

Dont be so judgemental. I sold my E Class merc convertible to Simon last week. Seems nice enough, lots of emails and apologies why his mobile wouldn,t work due to his current location (under water). His mate collected it only a couple of days ago to ship it to Malaysia for him. I thought it was really nice that he was buying it as a surprise for his dad and had gone to so much effort despite being stuck out in a dumbell somewhere out of sight of land. I,m really looking forward to hearing how pleased his dad is when he sees it, he,s promised to let me know.


Had a similar situation a few months ago with a guy from the IOW wanting to buy my TVR Taimar but he seemed real dodgy. Wanted to send a couple of blokes up to collect it and gave me a story he was going to restore it.

I just called the number above - gosh, James is a strange chap with an unusual accent for someone with such a British name.

He was delighted to hear he has won a TV and is expecting a call soon from head office to arrange delivery or collection. I told him we can deliver anywhere in the world as many of those entered into our SIM card draws are based all over europe.
