Hi all,

On Holiday in IOW and got talking to a local guy in a local pub, and mentioned how rough the roads are and my daughter mentioned it would not suit my Tuscan. This guy called Taffy enquired on the type of car,, when TVR mentioned, he stated he knew a guy called Clive who has a saggy, so I assumed he meant Clive F.

Turns out he is a welder also, very nice guy, and gave us a food insight into the isle.

Small world, and TVR's are recognised everywhere.

One of the guys in the S-Series section of the forum - another young-ish TVR owner - was based on IoW. Obviously a few of them about!

so it was you then, hehe

I got a phone call from my mate Taff last night, (stranger name for a welsh bloke I know),and he told me about meeting you in the pub.

there are a few of us over here, Lukas has the s2, also there are 2 t350`s, another sag, a tuscan 2 and of course dnb from on here with his griff, plus a young chap with a nice red wedge, another with a v8s and a couple of chims lurking about.

if you are over this way agin sometime drop me a line.

did Taff give you his full reportoir of dirty jokes and spit on you at the same time when talking?rofl

It's possible I was referring to the other guy. hehe

I suspect I was one of the youngest TVR owners on the forum when I first got my old one, but there was someone else in their 20s on PH who had an S3, based on the Isle of Wight...

Clive,
No, I had to cool off the jokes as my kids were with us, but he was very entertaining, LOL. Also got a slight showeringsmile

I am going to be over here over the next couple of weeks, perhaps we can have a beer or two/ three smile
