Firstly is there anyone out there from the south west?? Secondly, where do you get the Tiv serviced. I've fairly recently aquired the Griff (and love it to bits), and although it had just had a service before I bought it, I'd like to have an idea of what my options are re cost and quality. Cheers Dan

Guys' Nice to hear there are people in the region. Russ, my car is on the TVRCC Bristol Website, I have only been attending the meetings for the last couple of months so I guess I must of missed you. I'll be going to Caldicott with the club on Sunday maybe I'll see you there. Driller, glad to here there is one more of us, and one less of them!! Congrats on the Griff, good choice. I've had mine a few months now and I'm still grinning. I work in Bath so hopefully I'll see you around. I know the TVRCC Bristol website is always happy to recieve new content photos info etc. so if you have anything you want to send in they would be more than grateful. Cheers Dan

Dan, I'm all over the place at the moment but I hope to have some involvement in the local club and as you said I'll probably see you in bath (although surprised I haven't seen you already if you know what I mean ). BTW is your Griff a pre-cat? I listened to the sound clip in your profile on the website-very meaty sound! Nice! Driller Ice Blue Griff500 Edited by Driller on Friday 1st June 19:12

It is pretty obvious isn't it?? I don't generally bring the Griff to work due to the crap parking in Bath. I use the Golf in the week I usually attend the club functions the next one is the Power Tour weekend at Castle Combe, there will be a TVR's only car park, as well as a BBQ and karting Comp (book early!!) The Car is a standard 500 with a standard exhaust, but the microphone was about 6ins from the tailpipe See you at the Combe Cheers Dan

Jimmy Where in Bradley Stoke are you?? I'm in that area. Mail me at drshinton@hotmail.com The meetings are at the Golden Heart in Winterbourne Down, usually the 3rd sunday of the month, but this month it will coincide with the Power Tour at the Combe. Also the guys in south Wales are a good bunch, I can't remember where they meet though. Dan

There are a couple of places. It depends whether you want a main dealer stamp or are happy to use an experienced specialist. Main Dealers Hendry's of Malmsbury Newtown Motors of Cwmbran Broughtons of Cheltenham Specialists Peninsula in Devon David Gerald in Worcester Webbs South Bristol I have only got experience of Peninsula as they offer decent rates and were willing to pick my Griff up from my house and drop it back for free. I was more than happy with the work they did, and didn't get any nasty suprises.
