Me thinks that the Griff boys need to be represented in all this too!

I feel the need, the need for (NOS assisted) speed!!!

Not really wanting to pour cold water on, but how do you square this with MSA regs - is it a demonstration, or do the drag strip boys have a different set of regs?

Just asking - have fun. I'm off to Jersey next week to have a go - in the dark - in the Alvis.

only regs are that the bottle (s) in the boot must be full, and the driver's right foot must not be lifted from the bulkhead...hopefully with the throttle pedal between the two, oh and that there must be a mile wide grin on the drivers face !! Oh and one other thing, the Tuscan owners attending, are not allowed to go all moody and sulk, when the V8 boys smash their times.

The 350 will do a 13.2 at 114mph if that helps. It is about 0.4 off a good Tuscan 4.0l time. Oh and it is quicker than a standard Griff 5.0l by some margin.

If anybody turns up in a 10 second car, I'll smash my already smashed-up laptop further!

10 seconds or less - thats respect earning performance....

Most 2-3 litre turbo and NOS'd ricers will trounce on our babies on the quarter mile...

But if anyone pulls a 10 second time, that person should get a full write up on the front page of Pistonheads and the boy racer mags!

All being equal and not spinning the wheels too much, I'd like to think Craigs Cerb should get in the 10's , but you never know .
Is the Thorney Island blat before or after this one , just thinking it may make a good practice run .

I suppose that would have required me looking at a calendar then . Ah well Pistonmess will be a good practice for Thorney then .
