RG's Sold Purple Sag - What happened?

Don't forget to drop me a line should you ever decide to sell the racer TVRolet. Matching coloured road and race cars would look the dogs in my garage! Greedy, I know.

Just go and sit in a 360 and marvel at the cheap plastic Fiat fittings and remind yourself that this is the view that you as the owner will have all the time and then go and sit in a Sag.

It's Punto to Vantage.

Italians tend to make sure everything looks beautiful on the outside as it is what other people think that matters rather than pampering the owners. It is their way.

They have made improvements in later models but sadly have now gone completely the other way and are pandering to the vulgar taste of the recently wealthy Arab, Russian and chinaman.

Only fault I have with the Sag, Tam and T350 interior is that I would use a more sophisticated material for the binnacle, it looks cheap in the bakerlite.

Stunning car all round - agree with the previous posts about the interior comapared to a Fezza 360.
I would swap that Momo wheel for one of the classic black suede, motorsport designs though.

Spoke to them and it is going to Hong Kong; never to be seen again

On a thread a few months ago we realised that more than 20 are overseas, and this only adds to the number...At a guess we're about 15-20% of total production having left the UK.

That's a sickener. Yes, it may push the prices up even further, but it's another loss to the British TVR community. I wonder if that makes mine the last Purple Pearl Sag in the UK now. I knew of one other (local to Leeds too) but sadly she met with an unfortunate end. There are enough people here, looking for Sags, to make sure they stay in Blighty, but these people need to stick their hands deeper into their pockets!!! Makes me very sad really

And the moral of this story is "if you own one - keep it because you may never find another one like it again should you decide to re-buy one later"
