New TVR still under wraps! (Vol. 3)
Discussion
Happy with the comments so far. Opinions are what this forum is about.
I am absolutely not bothered what anyone else thinks about my wheels or choice of colour etc.
I was just posting to make the point that we are all entitled to our own opinion, and if we don't want to hear other people's opinions in case they hurt, then don't post.
PS, thanks for the nice ones, and yes, it does drive very nicely and rather quickly.

Yes...I thought I would sell it when i retire and leave the country to live somewhere warmer, dryer and cheaper, as every other country I can think of makes it a total misery to import a TVR and use it on the road.
And then I realised a) I didn't want to lose it and b) I could just take it everywhere on my trailer without making it road legal, and drive it on track days 12 months of the year. Because for me, the most fun to be had in a TVR is at speeds in excess of the legal limit.

There do seem to be fewer out and about but maybe Covid didn't help. When the parcel deliveries or parts people come to my house we usually get talking about cars. Very few even know that TVR is trying to produce a new car, they mostly think TVR died a long time ago. This is what happens when you don't have someone like Max Clifford as your PR bloke. ![laugh](/inc/images/laugh.gif)
When I had my Cerbera on the drive from 2018 to Sept 2019, I had conversations with both a postman and a parcel courier delivery driver who had both 'heard' that there was going to be a new TVR. Already by then, it was apparent it was going to be a pipe dream and I told them so...![laugh](/inc/images/laugh.gif)

If Lucy changed her profile name to Kevin then no one would be offended. It’s ok for a man to dislike your wheels. But a female, that crushes some men.
I suspect that “Lucy” is a 50 something male who drives a second hand Astra and lives vicariously through threads like this. Stever said:

Some sensitive souls on here. I’m not posting a pic of cr@p wheels on my car and asking for opinions (and getting upset when the opinions aren’t all positive).

Of course you're not just posting cr@p like this ^^^^^^]

I'm getting quite upset about all these hurtful comments being made on here about some people and their choices; we ought to have a survey as to whether some subjects should be made taboo and people de-platformed if they write things that are not very nice. How about a safe-space TVR forum where everybody promises to be a good boy, or girl, or whatever they identify as on the day, and only say nice things about each other and their cars: for as long as ICE cars are acceptable to be talked about.
I'm off to my own safe-space now![byebye](/inc/images/byebye.gif)

You had banter, drama with places like autocraft and the resulting shambles, rivalry between speed six camps, crazy projects like the Phoenix, and an extra helping of banter.
It’s all very tame these days

Sorry but the Tuscan always looks a bit bloated to me, as though it has been at the pies, especially around the haunches and door/front wing interface. The T350 had much better proportions, the best looking S6 model IMHO!m4tti said:

and what the TVR board of PH was like 10 plus years ago.

Wasn't that Phoenix thing by some bloke called Ash? Looking to build the first 1000hp Cerbera, didn't he get found out as a total fraud? Along with the weird 'family' that 'found' a TVR at the bottom of their lane, but it was just one guy with multiple logins and a vivid imagination?![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

I don’t think it was a fraud… I think the project leader went to a hotel with bars on the widows. That was one explanation of its demise.. https://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/news/when-400bhp-ju...
