I think the T190 and T230 were Mountune prepared cars, based on the 2.0 Zetec Focus. Long before the ST170 and RS came along, people were wanting a faster Focus that still came with a warranty.

£6k is getting close to RS money. I know which I'd rather have.

Having read that thread on Passionford, it seems the 'T' cars are held in high regard. They must be better than I remember.

I remember them from m Focus days. Used to think they seemed awesome, but I was never keen on the looks.

Heres a T230R which was the rally version so I think they were probably better developed under the skin, than the looks suggest.

Almost correct. The T190 was based on the 1.8 Zetec and both cars were prepared by Gordon Spooner Engineering. Mountune did provide the engine bits though. The car was marketed via DPRS.

I drove a white T230 to Ireland. Always loved the chatter from the turbo.

I know it is an old thread but Just came across one of these for sale. Never seen one before not surprisingly given how rare it is. Guessing it is the same one another poster mentioned as it is in ireland. Seems kind of reasonably priced for a rare ford.

Yeah, not many were made. There were a few different ones aswell, T180 I think.
