Does anyone know the part number for the pipe leading from the brake reservoir? Mine appears to have a slight crack and is leaking. Can anyone also confirm where the pipe goes to? Does it stop at the back of the engine bay which it appears to? Or does it continue to the back of the car?

I assume you mean the hydraulic clutch feed from the reservoir?

What year / model is the car?

Looks like the one, apart from 7A512 whats the actual name for it? Clutch master pipe? A google search for 7A512 doesn't bring up much

According to the above pic, the highly technical name Ford choses is "Tube".

Saw that and tried that as well... didnt work. Is the price on the screenshot the price of just that pipe? If it is, ouch.... and secondly, do you know if anywhere else will stock it? ECP?

I don't quite understand...

If you have the Ford part number, why does it matter so much what it's called?

You know it's the pipe from the fluid reservoir to the clutch master cylinder.

What more do you need?

So I can see if another stockist has it rather than Ford. I gave a few places that part number, but none could seem to find it and my description of "the pipe from the brake reservoir" didnt seem to help them either.

I thought there may be a generic term for the pipe, but since this seems to not be available I'll try and get in touch with the Ford Ka owners forum and see if they can help.

I've just replaced the 'clutch hose' to the clutch slave cylinder n my 96 Ford Ka 1.3 As shown in screenshot above, Ford part no. is 1057768 For other manufacturer's part no.s see http://www.niparts.com/s_166AA2/1057768.html e.g. Quinton Hazell BFH 5201 The part is removed easily from the bell housing by pulling out a clip and withdrawing the hose. The other end has the same type of fitting but is more difficult to reach as it is located between the back of the engine and the bulkhead.

Was there any resolution to this?
My 2006 Ford Ka handbrake warning light comes on intermittently. It had a full service 3 months ago so I was surprised that the brake fluid would be low. It was - I topped it up, but the warning light still came on intermittently. Topped it up again, surprised as I now think there must be a leak somewhere. Brakes feel fine, handbrake not catching. Can't see anything obvious.
