tentertive dates seem to be around 2 years from now for a production variant at around the 16k mark.
i'm in 2 minds as to stick my money on a focus cos (when it gets here) or one of them.
I had a zetec S with a few mild tweeks to the engine and suspension and it was a real scream on A and B roads and also fun on the track too,
The new 2002 shape fiesta has a very sorted chassis even with the aging twist beam axle on the back. RS tuning can only make it more fun

is the next Focus going to be as good or if not better than the current car or are ford going to make a dull golf clone ??
It's looking like being the car that brings me back to the Ford fold. (sounds dramtic doesn't it current car is my first NON ford....oh how I wish I could have got the current RS on discount!!!)
Mr Capito of Team RS says the cosworth should be an extreme car at home on the track, thats enough to get me saving, mind you........i'd have that RS festa and i'm thinking of the ST for the wife
