Not AFAIK. The fact that both of them are non-functional would suggest something electrical - so might well be as simple as a switch as a fuse. We can hope anyway

Cheers all Yes they did both die at the same time, there is no relay noise & no attempt at either motor working.
As you've probably seen from my profile I'm body/paint & emphatically NOT electrics, the switches recieved a soaking last Monday due to windscreen washers (& the wonderfull Ford design enabling it to drip directly onto the switches with the window open), the following day they both failed. (I have a bargain basement diseasel estate with man windows in the rear - so obviously no prob there!).
