Hi my other halfs 2000 Fiesta 1.25 zetec has got problems with the heater controls, the Fan works on fans 1, 2 and 4 and not 3, is this the resistor?

I had a quick look in the Haynes manual but couldn't work it out, it said the resistor was in the passenger footwell but I couldn't work out where. Has anyone got any more detail they might be able to give me on this? I thought it would be behind the switch.....

Thanks

Tom

Its a 2000 shape Fiesta?Anyway if it is you need to lay in the passenger side footwell and look up the back of the dash in the centre console area, the resistor is mounted on the heater box assembly in that area.

Yes its a 2000 W Reg...

I assue I don't have to remove anything to see the resistor? I will have another look when I get home.

Is the resistor likely to be the problem?

Thanks

Tom

I dont think you need to remove anything and its quite likely to be the resistor.
