when my 2002 59k miles focus st170 is idleling it makes a kind of clicking sound which can only be heard inside the cabin, it almost sounds like a diesel, also the fuel economy is crap im only getting about 270 miles to a tank and thats driving sensibly, please help
If it stops after thirty seconds or so its almost certainly the Intake manifold runner control module or silver box mounted on the firewall with a cable running to the inlet manifold,(bellhousing side).
