Any ideas? Small boink type of noise whilst under light load, then I noticed a severe lack of power and no boost...

Is the turbo known to fail on these, or is it likely to be a hose come off somewhere???

Thanks,

Paul.

More than likely a hose or leak , does the car go into limp home ?

It didn't flag up any problems on the display, or show any warning lights which I'd expect if it was in limp home mode.

The turbo just doesn't spool up!

only thing to do is book it in to ford and let them bung WDS on it , shouldnt take them long to find the problem .

Dead turbo! A bit suprising on a 57500 mile car that has been serviced on the nose...

Also a colleague has had the turbo stop working on his Volvo V50 with the 2.0 diesel engine... He hasn't had it diagnosed yet, but may well be a dead turbo too.

I still blame it on the French with their dodgy Diesels!!

Is Turbo failure a known problem on these PSA Diesels??
